Food Service Specialist – Customer Relationship & Sales

About the role

The Food Service Specialist (also referred to as Food Service Consultant) will promote and sell our food products, build strong relationships with hospitality decision‑makers, and contribute to business growth through continuous learning and industry engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the company’s history, mission and vision.
• Acquire comprehensive product knowledge, including source, processing and culinary applications.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, general managers, head chefs and other executives.
• Research assigned customer clusters such as hotels, restaurant chains, coffee shops, caterers and independent accounts.
• Stay updated on food trends, new market entrants and industry developments.
• Participate in relevant industry associations and networks.
• Proactively expand a professional network within the food and hospitality sector.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• At least one year of sales or customer‑facing experience in food, hospitality or related industries (fresh graduates are welcome).
• Strong interest and background in the food industry, including knowledge of food history and evolving culinary trends.
• Appreciation for diverse food cultures and their impact on modern dining.
• Fast learner with a commitment to personal growth and continuous improvement.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Professional, confident presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑motivated, resourceful and able to work independently.
