Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) – Finance

About the role

We are looking for a Finance professional to join MariBank’s Financial Planning & Analysis team in Ortigas. The role will support the bank’s budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes, providing insight to senior management and the Board of Directors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, annual and long‑term forecasts for the balance sheet and profit & loss statements.
• Monitor and analyse variances between actual results and budget on a monthly basis.
• Produce management reports, including regional updates and Board of Directors materials.
• Conduct financial analysis of balance‑sheet and profit & loss accounts each month.
• Simulate financial scenarios and assess their impact on regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA preferred but not required.
• Minimum five years of experience in a Big 4 audit firm (consulting or audit) serving banking clients, or equivalent experience in local banks focusing on business planning and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and banking regulations.
• Detail‑oriented, able to multitask and work independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication, time‑management and organisational skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and committed to integrity.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
