Financial Controller & Treasurer, Assistant Vice President

About the role

The Financial Controller & Treasurer, Assistant Vice President will lead the controllership and treasury functions for the Philippine entity, reporting to the Southeast Asia Head of Finance in Singapore. This senior finance professional will ensure accurate financial results, robust internal controls, and compliance with local tax and audit requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of legal entity and business unit controllership, ensuring accurate financial reporting and effective internal controls.
• Coordinate monthly close and consolidation activities with the Global Close team, driving efficiency and accuracy.
• Serve as the finance representative on local, regional, and global governance committees, including board meetings.
• Manage local tax compliance, direct and indirect taxes, transfer pricing, and coordination with corporate tax and tax agents.
• Lead internal and external audit processes, remediation, and ensure proper control design and SOX attestations where required.
• Manage a headcount in the Philippines and collaborate with LFOs, outsourced functions, and finance leadership on talent and succession planning.
• Handle corporate fund management, cash disbursement, and act as a principal signatory on financial statements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial controllership, treasury, and accounting within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax regulations, transfer pricing, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Proven track record in managing internal and external audits and implementing robust control frameworks.
• Leadership experience managing finance teams and partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders.
