Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the Accounting Department, overseeing General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable across all entities. This senior position partners directly with executive management to drive financial strategy, governance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Accounting Department covering GL, AP and AR functions for all companies.
• Provide executive‑level financial insights, analysis and recommendations to support strategic decisions.
• Oversee preparation and timely submission of consolidated financial statements, management reports and regulatory filings.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities in compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Ensure strong internal controls, risk management and compliance with BIR, SEC and other regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation and standardisation of accounting processes, particularly within SAP HANA ERP.
• Coordinate with Treasury, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and other business units to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Lead, mentor and develop accounting managers and finance leaders.
• Manage external and internal audit engagements and resolve audit findings promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading accounting functions (GL, AP, AR) in a multi‑entity environment.
• Strong partnership skills with senior executives and ability to influence financial strategy.
• Deep knowledge of financial reporting, regulatory compliance and internal control frameworks.
• Track record of implementing process improvements and automation in accounting operations.
• Excellent leadership and people‑development capabilities.
