Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead and coordinate all accounting and tax activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with local regulations. This role oversees the full spectrum of finance operations, from day‑to‑day transaction processing to month‑end close and external audit coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce accounts receivable and payable policies, manage invoice processing, credit memos, and payment verification.
• Maintain fixed‑asset accounting, record acquisitions/dispositions, calculate depreciation, and reconcile physical inventories.
• Oversee monthly and yearly closing procedures, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Monitor bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare tax returns, review financial disclosures, and coordinate external audit engagements.
• Define and track accounting & tax KPIs, driving continuous improvement of processes and systems.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high‑performing Accounting & Tax team.
• Ensure adherence to Quality and EHS system requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with current financial software.
• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
