Financial Control Manager – Finance Leadership Role

About the role

The Finance Manager leads a team of finance professionals responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting, accounting operations, and business insights. Acting as a trusted business partner, the role collaborates across Finance and the wider organization to support decision‑making, drive operational excellence, and identify process‑optimization opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end Record‑to‑Report (R2R) activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Manage period‑end close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis and financial reporting deliverables.
• Review and approve complex accounting transactions, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Oversee expense management, allocation, reconciliation and reporting for assigned business units or legal entities.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, financial governance, and regulatory requirements; maintain audit readiness.
• Partner with Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation to increase efficiency, accuracy and scalability.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cost‑management activities with insights and recommendations.

Required profile

• Extensive accounting expertise with a strong understanding of financial reporting standards.
