Financial and Corporate Auditor – Payments Industry

About the role

Join a leading global payments company as a Financial and Corporate Auditor. You will work with cross‑functional teams to evaluate financial, operational and technology processes, ensuring robust controls and risk mitigation across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end audits, from planning and fieldwork to reporting and remediation.
• Assess the effectiveness of controls over payment processing, merchant acquiring, onboarding, underwriting, risk management and chargeback functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks, explain business impacts and propose practical solutions.
• Document findings in high‑quality workpapers and support continuous improvement of audit methodologies.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in payment processing and merchant acquiring environments.
• Ability to think like a client, communicate findings clearly and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Proactive, adaptable attitude with a focus on ownership and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (5–10%), including international collaboration.

Required skills

• Familiarity with control testing frameworks such as SOX, SSAE16 and COSO.
• Understanding of process documentation, risk identification and remediation.
