Finance Support Specialist

About the role

TOA Global is seeking a Finance Support Specialist to join its international finance team in Cebu. This full‑time, onsite position moves beyond routine ledger work to own complex FP&A activities, valuation reviews, and data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Execute financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis, turning monthly results into actionable insights for leadership.
• Review multi‑page financial packages and capitalization tables, ensuring investment dates, ownership stakes, and valuation metrics are accurately aligned.
• Perform high‑level reconciliations of portfolio metrics against source records, identifying anomalies and documentation gaps.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities using cloud tools, advanced spreadsheets, and smart applications.
• Cross‑check figures between financial schedules and investor reports, maintaining historical accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain thorough analytical documentation ready for board‑level review.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or a comparable corporate analytical role.
• Strong analytical mindset with a proven record of handling granular financial data with precision.
• Excellent written communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets (complex formulas, data modeling, dynamic reporting).
• Familiarity with Carta.
• Experience with Claude AI or other large language models for documentation processing.
• Knowledge of portfolio management/analysis frameworks.
