Finance Planning Analyst

About the role

Analog Devices is hiring a Finance Planning Analyst in Cavite, Philippines, within its Manufacturing Operations Finance team. The analyst supports external manufacturing operations by managing complex financial data, ensuring accuracy in core planning and close processes, and delivering structured analysis that supports operational decisions. The role suits a detail-oriented professional who can work independently and improve reporting and workflow efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Monthly close execution: prepare and review journal entries, accruals and reclassifications, ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Variance and cost analysis: analyse cost, spend and volume variances, investigate root causes, validate data integrity and quantify financial impact.
• Forecasting and planning support: maintain and improve financial models, support forecasting cycles and improve forecast accuracy.
• Reporting and data management: support recurring reports and dashboards, reconcile data across systems and improve transparency and consistency.
• Process improvement: identify manual or repetitive processes and implement automation or structural improvements.
• Cross-functional support: provide analytical support to operations and finance stakeholders as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in FP&A, manufacturing finance or a related analytical role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Proactive, able to work with complex datasets and manage recurring deliverables independently with minimal oversight.
• Experience improving or automating financial processes is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data structuring).
• Power BI or similar tools preferred.
• SAP or similar ERP systems.
