Finance Controller

About the role

MicroSourcing is seeking a Finance Controller to lead financial operations in its Cebu City office. The role will report to the CFO and partner with U.S. teams to ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and effective cash management.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly and annual close process, preparing consolidated statements and management reports.
• Maintain and improve the general ledger, chart of accounts and cost allocation methods.
• Design, implement and monitor internal controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP and local accounting standards.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Provide financial analysis for business initiatives, capital expenditures and operational performance.
• Manage cash flow, prepare forecasts and identify liquidity risks.
• Coordinate external audits, tax compliance and relationships with auditors and consultants.
• Potentially oversee day‑to‑day office operations and basic HR administration for Philippines staff.

Required profile

• Seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in full‑cycle accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and local accounting regulations.
• Proven ability to design and enforce internal controls and compliance processes.
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting and cash‑management activities.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate insights to senior leadership.
• Willingness to work onsite in Cebu and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
