Finance Business Partner Director – Retail/FMCG

About the role

The Finance Business Partner Director will lead financial planning, performance management and strategic finance support for a fast‑moving consumer goods and retail organization. Reporting to senior leadership, you will partner with commercial and operational heads to drive profitability, manage risk and enable data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and business performance analysis.
• Partner with business leaders to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Analyse financial results, KPIs and trends to identify risks and opportunities.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and financial performance initiatives.
• Drive process improvements, automation and finance transformation projects.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial controls and reporting standards.
• Support leadership in developing growth and profitability strategies.
• Prepare and present financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including operations, commercial, supply chain and procurement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business or a related field; CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in finance, commercial finance, FP&A or business finance leadership.
• Experience in retail, FMCG or high‑volume consumer environments.
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting and business partnering capabilities.
• Proven stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Experience driving process improvement initiatives.
