Field Trainer

About the role

The ALDI Field Trainer is the primary Learning & Development representative in the field, responsible for delivering onboarding, coaching, and operational training to Sales Hunters, Territory Supervisors, and Merchant Partners. The role translates classroom learning into real‑world execution through live coaching, field immersion, and compliance support across assigned territories.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate field‑based onboarding and immersion programs for sales and supervisory staff.
• Conduct live merchant visit observations and side‑by‑side coaching to reinforce sales and operational standards.
• Provide guidance on merchant acquisition, customer engagement, and loan application handling.
• Perform regular coaching and shadowing sessions, delivering immediate feedback on communication, sales execution, negotiation, and app usage.
• Identify skill gaps and recommend development interventions.
• Conduct Field Readiness Checks to validate competency before independent deployment.
• Ensure compliance with AML/KYC policies, SOPs, and brand standards.
• Maintain accurate records of certifications, coaching sessions, and training activities.
• Coordinate on‑site orientation for Merchant Partner staff and build relationships with store managers and partners.
• Prepare training materials, track attendance, and generate progress reports.

Required profile

• Experience delivering training and coaching in a field or retail environment.
• Strong understanding of operational SOPs, compliance standards, and AML/KYC requirements.
• Ability to observe, assess, and provide constructive feedback during live merchant visits.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
