Field Service/Biomed Technician

About the role

The Field Service/Biomed Technician is responsible for installing, calibrating, and maintaining biomedical equipment at client sites across the Philippines. The role combines technical expertise with strong customer interaction to ensure equipment reliability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Install new biomedical devices, adjust settings, calibrate, and test performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance, conduct functional tests, and follow manufacturer instructions.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions on‑site.
• Submit detailed service reports daily for validation and calibration certificate issuance.
• Update technical knowledge through trainings, technical publications, and networking.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Attend mandatory trainings and perform required administrative and clerical tasks.
• Execute ad‑hoc tasks and support management as needed.

Required profile

• Graduate of ECE Engineering or TESDA courses related to biomedical technology.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Field Service or Biomedical Technician.
• Willingness and ability to travel daily for field assignments.
• Strong customer‑relation skills and readiness for extended training periods.
• Quick learner of new technical concepts and capable of clear problem‑solving under pressure.
