Farm Veterinarian

About the role

The farm veterinarian will be responsible for maintaining the health of swine and layer‑egg birds at our Cebu‑based operation. This full‑time, on‑site position combines routine animal care with rapid response to disease outbreaks, ensuring optimal productivity and welfare.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily rounds to monitor animal health.
• Identify and manage sick animals promptly.
• Diagnose diseases through observation and clinical signs.
• Prescribe appropriate treatments and administer medications.
• Perform routine and emergency examinations.
• Collect samples for laboratory testing and analysis.
• Evaluate disease outbreaks and implement preventive measures.
• Track mortality and morbidity rates.
• Administer vaccinations according to established protocols.
• Ensure proper feed and water provision while adhering to animal welfare policies.

Required profile

• Graduate of Veterinary Medicine.
• Veterinary license is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; no prior poultry experience required.
• Willingness to undergo training.
• Strong initiative and problem‑solving abilities.
