Farm Veterinarian – Biosecurity & Veterinary Programs

About the role

The Farm Veterinarian for Biosecurity & Veterinary Programs safeguards animal health and drives operational excellence across Aboitiz Foods’ farm operations. You will design, implement, and continuously improve biosecurity and veterinary programs, ensuring consistent disease prevention and rapid response.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive biosecurity manuals, work instructions, and SOPs.
• Standardize biosecurity protocols across all farm sites, creating unified checklists, signage, and reference materials.
• Coordinate with farm supervisors and operations teams to ensure uniform understanding and execution of protocols.
• Implement and monitor standardized biosecurity measures, conducting regular farm visits to verify compliance.
• Deliver training programs on biosecurity and animal health to veterinary staff and farm personnel.
• Support emergency biosecurity actions during disease threats, overseeing containment and movement‑restriction procedures.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives for veterinary, animal health, and biosecurity processes.
• Maintain version control and distribution of all related documentation.

Required profile

• Qualified veterinarian with experience in farm animal health and biosecurity.
• Strong understanding of disease prevention, early detection, and response protocols.
• Ability to develop and standardize SOPs and training materials.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
