Failure Analysis Engineer - Manufacturing

About the role

As a Failure Analysis Engineer in Manufacturing, you will support product reliability by leading comprehensive failure analysis activities across operational and engineering projects. You will work closely with product divisions to evaluate new equipment, develop methods, and ensure smooth recipe transfers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle failure analysis (FA) for product, Mav, and CI lots.
• Lead gap analysis, new machine evaluation, and development of novel FA methods.
• Interface with product divisions to coordinate technical requirements and support.
• Oversee recipe transfer activities between processes.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations to internal and customer audiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical, Microelectronics, Materials, or Chemistry.
• Minimum 5 years of semiconductor industry experience, preferably in failure analysis.
• Strong knowledge of FA techniques and equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in written and spoken English.
• Proactive problem‑solver with a high sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure.
