Facilities Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Facilities Engineer to manage the operation and maintenance of all building systems in our retail environment. The successful candidate will ensure facilities run efficiently, safely, and comply with all regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and resolve system issues promptly.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures for optimal facility performance.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for repairs and services.
• Monitor energy usage and implement efficiency improvement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and manage the facilities budget, track expenses, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Respond to emergency situations quickly and effectively.
• Collaborate with other departments to support retail operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

Required profile

• Licensed Electrical/Mechanical Engineer certification.
• Proven facilities management experience, preferably in retail or commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Project management experience with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work a rotating schedule and be assigned to projects within Metro Manila.
