External Auditor

About the role

We are seeking qualified External Auditors to strengthen our audit team in Cebu. The role involves delivering high‑quality audit services to clients while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and manage external audit procedures for assigned engagements.
• Prepare and review detailed audit working papers.
• Conduct substantive testing and perform account analysis.
• Evaluate financial statements and assess internal control effectiveness.
• Identify audit risks, document findings and communicate results to clients.
• Collaborate closely with audit team members and maintain professional client relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in external audit or auditing.
• Experience in audit firms, public accounting or professional services is preferred.
• CPA qualification is an advantage.
• Willingness to work onsite in Cebu.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS and other accounting standards.
• Financial statement audit expertise.
• Audit planning and substantive testing.
• Understanding of internal controls.
