Expert PPSS Intelligence Tactical/Operational

About the role

ING is looking for an Expert PPSS Intelligence Tactical/Operational to identify, assess and communicate threats that could affect ING globally. The role sits within the Global Personal & Physical Safety & Security (PPSS) team and works with PPSS specialists across several countries, alongside colleagues from security, HR, communications and business functions, and with external partners such as law enforcement and intelligence agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze tactical and operational developments across geopolitical, ideological, criminal and regional security domains
• Turn intelligence into actionable recommendations that support risk mitigation, operational planning, crisis preparedness and decision-making
• Contribute to a safer environment for people and operations worldwide
• Support crisis preparedness and incident response activities

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice or a related discipline
• Proven experience in security management, preferably in financial services or another highly regulated industry
• Fluency in English, written and spoken
• Willingness to take part in on-call security response activities when required

Required skills

• Knowledge of intelligence, threat assessment and risk analysis
• Experience with personal and physical safety and security programs
• Understanding of security-related regulatory and compliance requirements
• Excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in complex, multicultural environments and in fast-paced situations
