Executive Director – Hybrid Role

About the role

The Meadowmount School of Music is seeking an Executive Director to lead its summer program and year‑round fundraising efforts. This largely hybrid position requires residence on campus from early June through the third week of August, with housing provided.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all operational aspects of the summer program, ensuring smooth execution and high‑quality educational experiences.
• Serve as the chief fundraiser, cultivating relationships with current and prospective donors.
• Develop and implement strategies to diversify and expand the organization’s funding base.
• Communicate the school’s values and traditions while advancing its artistic and educational vision for the 21st century.
• Collaborate with staff, faculty, and board members to align operational and fundraising goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, or senior operational management.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to represent the school’s mission.
• Strong understanding of arts education and the ability to honor tradition while driving innovation.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary range $80,000–$95,000 per year, based on experience.
