Equipment Technician II

About the role

The Equipment Technician II provides technical support for test operations, ensuring that production test equipment is set‑up, maintained and qualified to meet high standards of productivity, quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Set up test equipment (e.g., testers, contactors/pins, hardware handlers) according to production requirements.
• Implement and follow a preventive maintenance (PM) program for all equipment.
• Support equipment qualification, machine buy‑off and compliance with operational standards.
• Analyze equipment performance data and initiate corrective and preventive actions.
• Document investigations, ensure data credibility and drive rational decision‑making.
• Recommend and execute equipment improvements or modifications.
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to align equipment performance with strategic business goals.

Required profile

• Ability to interpret performance indicators and apply structured problem‑solving methods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data‑driven decisions.
• Experience working in a production or test‑equipment environment.

Required skills
