Entry-Level Electrical Engineer – Rural Electrification Project

About the role

As a Project‑Based Electrical Engineer you will design, implement and monitor electrification projects for underserved communities in remote sitios. You will work closely with community stakeholders, project managers and technical teams to deliver safe, reliable power solutions while developing your engineering skills in a purpose‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site surveys and feasibility assessments for electrification projects in remote sitios.
• Prepare detailed electrical designs, including single‑line diagrams, load calculations, material specifications and bills of quantities in accordance with the Philippine Electrical Code.
• Oversee construction, installation and commissioning of distribution lines and house wiring, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 0‑2 years of experience in electrical system design, construction or related project management (fresh graduates welcome).
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and rural electrification challenges.
• Ability to work effectively in remote, challenging field environments.
• Proactive communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software for electrical design.
• Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Power system analysis and distribution design tools.
• Project management tools.
