Engineering Manager – Switchgear Business Unit (Bulacan) – up to 120k

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Switchgear Business Unit in Bulacan. The role oversees design, development, and production of electrical switchgear products, ensuring quality, cost efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering team and support staff.
• Drive product improvement, value engineering and process optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver cost‑effective solutions.
• Oversee team performance, KPIs and staff development.
• Resolve technical issues in pre‑ and post‑production.
• Coordinate with the Fabrication Manager to improve factory performance.
• Manage risks, timelines and project delivery.
• Perform other assigned tasks.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in electrical design, automation or switchgear manufacturing.
• 5+ years of managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering and switchgear systems.
• Proven leadership, project management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in budgeting, resource planning and KPI management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD).
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
