Engineering Manager – Equipment & Utilities

About the role

The Engineering Manager – Equipment & Utilities leads the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of utility and equipment systems that support manufacturing operations. This role ensures reliable power, compressed air, chilled water, refrigeration, water treatment and waste‑water treatment while driving cost‑effective maintenance and project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee autonomous and preventive maintenance using CMMS to keep equipment defect‑free and update preventive maintenance standards.
• Manage refrigeration systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency and recommending upgrades.
• Supervise utilities (power, compressed air, chilled water, water treatment, waste‑water) to guarantee uninterrupted supply and code compliance.
• Lead CAPEX projects from feasibility through completion, delivering on time and within budget.
• Monitor maintenance and utility costs, optimise resource utilisation and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Develop team capabilities, implement succession planning and promote operational best practices.
• Support HSE compliance, develop regulatory master plans and build capability in health, safety and environment practices.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, GMP and safety standards and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum five years of experience in manufacturing engineering or utilities.
• Strong background in refrigeration, HVAC, control systems and rotating equipment.
• Proven leadership and project management abilities.
• Proficiency with CMMS and engineering systems analysis.
• Knowledge of regulatory codes and compliance standards.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Canlubang, Laguna.
