Engagement Officer

About the role

MicroSourcing is seeking a highly motivated Engagement Officer to design, implement, and manage initiatives that foster meaningful connections with employees, community members, and stakeholders. The role serves as the primary bridge between the organization and its key audiences, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs addressed.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive engagement strategies aligned with organizational goals and values.
• Design, launch, and manage digital and in‑person programs, campaigns, and events that drive participation and build community.
• Create compelling content for newsletters, intranet portals, social media, and direct communications.
• Coordinate town halls, workshops, focus groups, and networking events from conception to execution.
• Develop KPIs, conduct surveys and feedback sessions, analyze data, and prepare regular reports for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience in community management, employee engagement, public relations, or stakeholder relations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
• High emotional intelligence, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with engagement platforms and survey tools such as SurveyMonkey and Typeform.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Workspace or Google Workspace.
