Electrical Engineer – Transmission Lines (All Levels)

About the role

Aurecon is seeking Electrical Engineers to join its Global Design Centre in Manila, supporting the ANZ Energy team. The role involves delivering safe, innovative, and sustainable electrical solutions for transmission line projects from concept through detailed design and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in all project lifecycle phases, from initial concept to detailed design and execution.
• Collaborate with offshore engineering teams to ensure seamless project progression and quality compliance.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including design calculations, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure designs meet relevant industry standards and codes, particularly for Australian and New Zealand markets.
• For senior engineers, conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in electrical engineering with a focus on transmission lines.
• Proven experience designing transmission lines rated higher than 132 kV.
• Experience working with offshore designers.
• Strong commitment to continuous learning and innovation.

Required skills

• Electrical engineering design for high‑voltage transmission lines.
• Design calculations, specifications, and technical reporting.
• Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand electrical standards and codes.
• Technical review and mentorship capabilities.
• Collaboration with offshore engineering teams.
