About the role
The Asian Development Bank is seeking an Editor for its Information Access Unit within the Office of the Secretary. Based at the Manila headquarters, you will enhance the quality, accessibility, and usability of Board of Directors documents, supporting the Bank’s mission to alleviate poverty and promote sustainable development in Asia‑Pacific.
Key responsibilities
- Provide editorial excellence for Board documents, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with ADB standards.
- Improve structure and narrative quality of complex policy and operational papers.
- Lead improvements in document, information, and records management across the SEC and Board.
- Ensure compliance with ADB policies on information classification, access, and disclosure.
- Contribute to digital platform enhancements and responsible AI adoption for Board information.
- Develop and deliver training on editorial best practices and information management.
- Coordinate with business, editorial, and technical teams to align systems and practices.
- Provide secretariat support to Board committees and document key events such as Annual Meetings.
Required profile
- Master’s degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Communications, International Affairs, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Information Management or a related field.
- Relevant university degree in English, Journalism, Communication or a comparable discipline.
