Echo Tech Nurse

About the role

The Echo Tech Nurse works in an outpatient or hospital setting, providing direct clinical nursing care, patient assessment, and procedural support. The role involves close interaction with patients, families, and doctors to ensure high‑quality cardiac imaging services.

Key responsibilities

• Secure patient consent, maintain confidentiality, and accurately record health information.
• Prepare consultation rooms, complete equipment checklists, and report defective items for repair.
• Ensure supplies are stocked, rooms are clean, and equipment is ready for procedures.
• Use the clinic information system to queue patients and triage when necessary.
• Receive patients, verify identity, and document vital signs and chief complaints.
• Assist doctors during examinations and procedures, following orders and documenting accurately.
• Submit monthly purchase requests for supplies and consumables.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a current PRC RN license.
• Completed 2D Echocardiography training and basic ECG competency.
• At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient or hospital setting.
• Current CPR or First Aid certification.
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and communicate effectively.
