Document Control and Sensory Assistant

About the role

The Document Control and Sensory Assistant supports the management of controlled documents and the coordination of sensory testing activities within a food manufacturing environment. The role ensures that all documentation complies with company policies and that sensory evaluations run smoothly and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, register, and secure controlled documents, monitoring validity, revisions and archiving according to retention policies.
• Coordinate with document owners to ensure timely review, update, renewal or disposal of records.
• Manage expenses and administrative tasks related to sensory evaluations and third‑party laboratory testing.
• Maintain inventory of sensory testing materials, samples and supplies.
• Schedule sensory testing sessions, arrange venues and handle logistics with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide on‑site support during sensory activities to ensure compliance with test plans.
• Record results, maintain accurate documentation and conduct periodic audits of sensory processes.

Required profile

• College graduate in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, Business Administration, Office Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in document control, administrative support, sensory evaluation, quality assurance, R&D or a similar function.
• Experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment is an advantage.
