Director, Project Engineering

About the role

The Director, Project Engineering leads major capital‑expenditure projects across manufacturing and logistics sites, overseeing the full project life‑cycle from feasibility to commissioning. This senior position ensures projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute strategies for large‑scale capex projects, including new manufacturing plants with budgets exceeding P2 billion.
• Lead cross‑functional teams in feasibility studies, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Real Estate, R&D, Legal, Procurement, etc.) and external partners (architects, contractors, vendors).
• Prepare regular project status reports for senior management.
• Establish and enforce project management standards, tools, and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience directing major manufacturing or logistics capex projects.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyze costs and benefits, and to recommend corrective actions.
• Experience developing and implementing engineering and construction standards.
