Director IT Manufacturing

About the role

Advanced Energy is seeking a Director of IT Manufacturing to lead technology operations across its Cavite and Laguna factories. The role serves as the primary technology partner to the General Manager, translating business needs into IT solutions while aligning with corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full IT footprint at both factories, including infrastructure, applications, and OT systems.
• Act as senior IT representative to senior plant leadership, feeding business requirements into corporate roadmaps for MES, ERP, and other platforms.
• Align local execution with corporate IT strategy, architecture, and governance.
• Lead, develop, and manage the site IT team, overseeing staffing, performance, and capability growth.
• Ensure continuity of critical systems such as MES, SCADA, and ERP, coordinating enhancements and issue resolution.
• Oversee vendor relationships, project delivery, and change‑management processes to maintain secure, disruption‑free operations.
• Manage site IT budgets, procurement, and asset lifecycles.
• Lead business continuity and disaster‑recovery planning, and monitor performance metrics for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing site‑level IT teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of corporate IT governance, security standards, and compliance (e.g., SOX).
• Ability to partner with senior plant leadership and translate business challenges into technical solutions.
