Design Engineer – Electrical & Solar PV Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer to lead electrical and solar PV design activities on residential, commercial and industrial project sites. The role involves overseeing the full design‑to‑commissioning process, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Work on assigned project sites across residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
• Review methodology, job hazard analysis, Gantt charts and material loading reports.
• Validate layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
• Prepare streamlined project information and detailed bills of materials.
• Oversee project planning, resource distribution, time, risk, budget and staff management.
• Monitor timely delivery and installation of materials and equipment.
• Document progress and maintain accurate installation records.

Required profile

• Registered Electrical Engineer.
• Proven experience in solar PV design, installation and commissioning.
• Willingness to work on‑site at various project locations.
• Valid driver’s licence is a plus.
