Demand Planning and Logistics Manager

About the role

Dr. Shiba, a fast‑growing Southeast Asian pet‑care brand, is seeking a Demand Planning and Logistics Manager to lead end‑to‑end supply‑chain activities across its regional markets. You will coordinate demand forecasting, international shipping, procurement, and inventory management to ensure product availability while optimizing working capital.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with commercial, operations, and finance teams to consolidate demand forecasts and translate them into purchasing and delivery plans.
• Develop and maintain supplier delivery schedules, safety stock levels, and conduct regular slow‑moving/obsolete inventory reviews.
• Own cross‑border shipping from manufacturing partners (primarily China) to warehouses in Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and other markets; manage forwarder relationships, freight bidding, bookings, and customs clearance.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation (bill of lading, commercial invoice, packing list, certificates of origin, etc.) and drive cost and lead‑time improvements across trade lanes.
• Place purchase orders, track open orders end‑to‑end, manage order changes, and proactively communicate with suppliers on schedule shifts.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in the ERP system, coordinate with warehouses on discrepancies, support cycle counts, and provide regular inventory visibility reports.
• Ensure all shipments comply with import regulations, including permits and certificates, and stay ahead of regulatory changes in each market.
