About the role
Universal Robina Corporation is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build and maintain robust data pipelines on Azure. The role focuses on moving data from source systems into data lakes and warehouses, ensuring high quality and availability for analytics.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and orchestrate data pipelines that meet business requirements.
- Automate manual processes and optimise data delivery for scalability.
- Collaborate with data analysts and architects on multiple projects.
- Ensure data completeness, cleansing, and handling of outliers.
- Identify patterns, trends and correlations within data sets.
- Enhance data quality and reliability.
- Transform data sets into visual insights using BI tools.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering.
- Proven experience with Azure cloud services.
- Strong understanding of Databricks, Data Lake and Data Warehouse concepts.

- Python or PySpark programming.
