Cyber Vulnerability Management Analyst (1‑Year Project)

About the role

The Cyber Vulnerability Management Analyst will support Henkel’s global cyber resilience by identifying, assessing, and remediating security vulnerabilities across IT, OT, and Cloud environments. This 1‑year project‑based role offers early‑career cybersecurity professionals hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, multinational setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular vulnerability scans across IT, OT and Cloud assets and validate findings.
• Assess vulnerability criticality using CVSS, exploit intelligence and internal risk scoring.
• Coordinate remediation, patching and hardening with infrastructure, OT engineering, cloud, DevOps and application teams.
• Track remediation progress, monitor SLA deadlines, escalate overdue items and document risk acceptances.
• Prepare dashboards, metrics reports and audit documentation related to vulnerability management.
• Maintain up‑to‑date procedures, scanning scope and remediation workflows, contributing to playbooks and knowledge bases.
• Communicate high‑priority or emergency patch requirements in clear, business‑friendly language.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, application support or related roles.
• Strong understanding of confidentiality, integrity, availability, vulnerability and risk concepts.
• Experience working with global or regional stakeholders is a plus.
• Willingness to work a mid‑shift schedule (11:00 AM‑8:00 PM) in a hybrid set‑up.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with vulnerability assessment tools and interpreting scan results.
• Knowledge of CVSS scoring, ITIL Foundation, CEH/ISSP certifications and SIEM tools.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and common programming languages such as Java, JavaScript and Python.
