Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to join its onsite team at Mall of Asia, Pasay City. You will work closely with managed security service providers to investigate incidents, monitor threats, and strengthen the organization’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate cybersecurity incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and support containment, remediation, and recovery activities.
• Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM platforms and Microsoft security technologies to detect suspicious activity.
• Assess cybersecurity risks across ICT projects, digital initiatives, and business operations while supporting governance and compliance requirements.
• Conduct security assessments for third‑party vendors, supply‑chain partners, and new technologies, ensuring timely risk mitigation.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation, awareness programs, operational procedures, and incident‑response playbooks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in cyber security operations, governance, risk & compliance, or related functions.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, security controls, and incident‑response processes.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft security technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview.
