Customer Research & Analytics Analyst I

About the role

The Customer Research & Analytics Analyst I will conduct web‑based research on technology‑driven corporations and validate patent data to ensure accurate ownership and legal status. Working within the PatentSight team, you will help customers uncover patent insights and understand commercial power behind inventions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform in‑depth internet research to improve global patent data quality.
• Identify patent owners by analysing corporate structures, M&A activity, spin‑offs, name changes and patent transactions.
• Validate, update and verify customer information using the Harmonizer Tool.
• Apply quality‑control measures to maintain high accuracy and reliability of data.
• Meet productivity targets and processing‑time benchmarks for each portfolio.
• Communicate status of tasks and projects to internal stakeholders.
• Suggest and implement process improvements to boost team performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in research, data quality or analysis.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with US and international teams.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to work under pressure in a fast‑changing environment.
