Credit Assessment Team Lead

About the role

Atome Financial is seeking a Credit Assessment Team Lead to drive the evaluation of credit applications across multiple ASEAN markets. You will lead a team in determining creditworthiness, ensuring timely decisions, and maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Approve or reject credit cases within defined timeframes.
• Verify client creditworthiness using internal data, external resources, submitted documents, and phone verification.
• Prepare daily reports for review by Team Leaders.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert for credit assessment processes.
• Develop new techniques to improve decision‑making efficiency.
• Design and implement strategies, KPIs, and quality‑management initiatives.
• Handle operations in various markets (e.g., Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia) as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous experience in credit assessment or a closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of credit assessment trends, lending laws, and regulations.
• Familiarity with Philippine ID verification processes.
• Background in financial services, banking, BPO, or similar industries is preferred.
