Country Finance Controller

About the role

Bureau Veritas Philippines is seeking a highly motivated Country Finance Controller to support the finance function, ensuring strong financial governance, regulatory compliance, and sustainable business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the principal finance business partner to regional and country product line leads, providing strategic financial guidance.
• Ensure compliance with Bureau Veritas Group policies, accounting standards, delegation of authority, and internal controls.
• Lead compliance with local statutory, tax, corporate, and regulatory requirements in the Philippines.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks within the country.
• Provide commercial and financial support for strategic bids, tenders, major contracts, and investment decisions.
• Lead profitability analysis by business line, customer segment, and service portfolio.
• Establish and monitor cash flow improvement initiatives to achieve OCF and working capital targets.
• Lead, develop, coach, and evaluate the finance team, ensuring succession planning and talent development.
• Present monthly financial performance, forecasts, risks, and opportunities to internal stakeholders and finance leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field with professional accounting qualification.
• At least 5 years in a Finance Controller, Finance Manager, Head of Finance or similar leadership role.
• Experience supporting multiple business units or a diversified service organization.
• Experience in multinational companies and matrix organizations is advantageous.
