Country Controller

About the role

The Country Controller will lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting and business analysis for the APA business in the Philippines. Acting as a trusted financial advisor to the Local Business Manager, the role ensures sound financial steering, compliance and support for commercial initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly actual reporting and full‑year P&L, balance‑sheet and sales forecasts.
• Develop, track and communicate financial scenarios, risks and opportunities.
• Provide commercial and operational controlling, including pricing, rebate schemes, profitability analysis and expense steering.
• Support credit management, monitor receivables aging and assist with collection plans.
• Lead strategic finance projects such as business model evaluation, go‑to‑market approaches, make‑or‑buy decisions and capital‑expenditure planning.
• Drive value‑based management across the organization and support sustainable market performance.
• Serve as the primary contact for compliance queries and participate in country‑level management meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial planning, forecasting, reporting and business analysis.
• Ability to act as a financial advisor and challenger to senior business leaders.
• Strong understanding of compliance, commercial controlling and strategic finance projects.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
