Corporate Communications Officer

About the role

The Corporate Communications Officer will lead and execute internal and external communication strategies for a hydropower pumped‑storage project. This position ensures consistent, strategic messaging across all stakeholders while supporting reputation management and crisis communication.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated communication plans aligned with corporate and project objectives.
• Lead internal communications to keep teams aligned, engaged, and informed.
• Manage external communications, including press releases, media responses, official statements, and public disclosures.
• Prepare communication materials such as presentations, reports, newsletters, and digital content.
• Coordinate with government agencies, LGUs, community leaders, and other stakeholders to support project messaging and maintain social license.
• Conduct weekly site visits to Rizal and Pakil, Laguna to gather updates and assess stakeholder sentiment.
• Support the development and execution of crisis communication plans, draft timely responses to sensitive issues, and advise leadership during high‑risk situations.
• Monitor media and public sentiment, track coverage and feedback, and provide regular reports with recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role.
• Proven experience in internal and external communications and crisis management.
• Experience in infrastructure, energy, or construction projects is highly preferred.
• Strong writing, messaging, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
• Willingness to travel for weekly site visits and work under pressure in dynamic environments.
