Controlling Business Intelligence Specialist

About the role

foodpanda is seeking a highly analytical Finance Business Intelligence Specialist to join its regional team in the Philippines, supporting APAC and Europe markets. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders across multiple continents to enhance reporting, analysis, automation, and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and recommend data‑visualisation solutions.
• Manage end‑to‑end data projects: gather information, analyse data, interpret trends, build models and deliver automated reports.
• Review daily operational processes, identify improvement areas and provide actionable recommendations.
• Analyze regional P&L performance, pinpoint revenue and cost drivers across APAC and Europe.
• Lead ad‑hoc strategic deep‑dives, translating raw data into recommendations for regional leadership.
• Continuously automate and streamline processes to boost business efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics or a related quantitative field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in analytics, data science or Business Intelligence.
• Conceptual knowledge of financial statements; professional certifications (CPA, CFA, CIMA) are a plus.
• Strong quantitative mindset with excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Tableau for building automated financial models and dashboards.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• SQL knowledge and experience.
