Controller – Senior Finance Leader

About the role

MicroSourcing is seeking a senior finance leader to serve as Controller in Cebu City. The role oversees the integrity of financial operations, reporting, and internal controls while partnering closely with the CFO and U.S. teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly and annual close process, delivering accurate consolidated financial statements.
• Maintain and improve the general ledger, chart of accounts and cost allocation methods.
• Design, implement and monitor internal controls, segregation of duties and approval workflows.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, local accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Lead budgeting, rolling forecasts, scenario modelling and variance analysis.
• Provide financial analysis for business initiatives, capital expenditures and operational performance.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships and treasury activities.
• Support external audits and coordinate with auditors and tax consultants.
• Oversee day‑to‑day office operations and basic HR administration for Philippines‑based staff.

Required profile

• Seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial reporting and close processes.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and local accounting standards.
• Proven ability to design and enforce internal controls and compliance frameworks.
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis for strategic decision‑making.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams in the U.S. and the Philippines.
