Controller – Finance & Accounting

About the role

Essentia, Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead the finance and accounting function for its growing telecommunications infrastructure business. The Controller will own accounting processes, reporting, and compliance across multiple entities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end close and preparation of standard financial statements for multiple entities.
• Develop and present monthly financial results and analysis decks for senior management and the board.
• Oversee audit coordination, liaise with external auditors, and ensure timely delivery of audit materials.
• Direct tax compliance activities, work with external tax advisors, and handle federal and state filings.
• Maintain and improve the financial control environment, including balance‑sheet reconciliations and subledger reviews.
• Handle cash management functions such as billing, collections, vendor payments, and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Produce ad‑hoc reports and analyses as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounting or finance within a multi‑entity environment.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, tax regulations, and audit processes.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to assess risks and implement effective controls.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with senior leadership and external partners.
