Control and Instrumentation Technician

About the role

The Control and Instrumentation Technician will support the C&I Supervisor in maintaining and optimizing the plant's control and instrumentation systems. This position ensures safe, reliable operation of generating units while working closely with the maintenance team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on instruments and control systems, including calibration, repair, and simulation of plant equipment.
• Assist in functional tests, performance rating tests, and evaluation of process instrument indications during unit start‑up.
• Troubleshoot, overhaul, and repair process monitoring and control systems, power supply systems, and pneumatic/electronic control instrumentation.

Required profile

• Vocational degree in Instrumentation and Control Technology.
• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting, preferably with calibration or process instrumentation certification.

Required skills

• Instrumentation calibration and verification.
• Control system troubleshooting and functional testing.
• Pneumatic and electronic valve control expertise.
• Plant diagnostics and outage/project management.
