Contracting Counsel Specialist

About the role

The Contracting Counsel Specialist will review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contractual agreements in a fast‑paced corporate environment. Working closely with senior contracting lawyers, you will act as a trusted advisor on legal and commercial risks associated with transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Independently structure, negotiate and close client transactions to achieve optimal legal and business outcomes.
• Strategize with senior lawyers and internal business clients prior to negotiations.
• Monitor industry developments and integrate relevant insights into transactional practices.
• Educate and advise executives on legal and risk‑management issues.
• Develop subject‑matter expertise in areas such as cloud, blockchain security, SaaS, and agile development.
• Contribute to internal guidelines, toolkits, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.
• Support and promote Accenture Legal initiatives.

Required profile

• LLB or JD (or equivalent) and licensed to practice law in the Philippines.
• Minimum 2 years of transactional experience in digital, consulting, systems integration, or outsourcing, either in a law firm or a fast‑paced in‑house role.
• At least 1 year of experience negotiating intellectual‑property and data‑privacy issues.
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of transactions independently.
• Strong executive presence and excellent oral and written communication in English and Filipino.
