Construction Site Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Site Engineer to lead design and construction activities across multiple projects. The role focuses on preparing permit drawings, supervising site manpower, and delivering accurate engineering designs using CAD tools. Candidates will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project compliance and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare permit drawings and related documentation required by PEZA, ensuring all regulatory standards are met.
• Develop and draft detailed engineering designs using CAD software, translating project requirements into technical drawings.
• Perform design calculations and cost estimation for construction projects, supporting budgeting and planning efforts.
• Supervise and manage professional manpower on site, providing guidance and ensuring safe, efficient work practices.
• Coordinate with electrical and mechanical disciplines on various site projects, adapting designs to project-specific needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
• Registered Electrical and Mechanical Engineer.
• Proven experience in design and construction projects.
• Analytical mindset with strong computer literacy.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise site staff and manage manpower.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software.
• Experience with engineering design tools.
