Construction Safety Manager – Davao City

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives on our large-scale infrastructure projects in Davao City. The role involves developing policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with local occupational health and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor site safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local OHS regulations and company standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction safety management.
• Preferred certifications: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Construction Safety and Health (COSH) or equivalent.
• Proven ability to conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
