Compensation and Benefits Specialist

About the role

Unifin Inc is seeking a Compensation and Benefits Specialist to manage employee benefits, ensure statutory compliance, and oversee leave records. This position requires strong organizational abilities, discretion with confidential data, and the flexibility to handle remote and occasional on‑site tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Administer statutory benefits such as SSS, PhilHealth, Pag‑IBIG, and BIR, and submit required reports on time.
• Coordinate company‑initiated benefits including HMO and group insurance plans.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS while complying with data‑privacy standards.
• Monitor sick and vacation leaves to ensure proper tracking and regulatory compliance.
• Support audits, compliance checks, and respond to employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits.
• Liaise with government offices or external providers for document processing, including occasional fieldwork.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Compensation and Benefits or HR operations.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, and statutory benefits.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
