Company Nurse / Safety Officer

About the role

The Company Nurse / Safety Officer will oversee employee health, safety and well‑being within our publishing house. The role combines basic medical care with the implementation and monitoring of occupational health and safety programmes to maintain a safe, productive workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑aid, basic healthcare services and medical assistance to staff.
• Maintain and update employee medical records and monitor health‑related concerns.
• Coordinate annual physical examinations, health programmes and wellness initiatives.
• Administer and monitor workplace safety and health policies in line with government regulations.
• Conduct safety inspections, hazard assessments and incident investigations.
• Organise safety trainings, emergency drills and occupational health awareness activities.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and reporting requirements.
• Liaise with government agencies, healthcare providers and emergency responders as needed.
• Perform other health, safety and administrative duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid PRC license.
• Accredited Safety Officer (SO2 or higher) preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
• Strong communication, organisational and record‑keeping abilities.
